Kay has been a dog lover all her life. She was the owner and breeder of West Highland white terriers for over 30 years. Her present dogs are two golden retrievers, Gin (bitch) and Schweppes (male), who have been awarded prizes in local shows.
 

She is professionally trained and certified dog groomer and is familiar with all breeds of dogs and is a founder member of the Irish Dog Groomers Association.

Her sole interest is in the welfare and safety of all dogs entrusted into her care, hence her mission statement CARE BEFORE PROFIT. She cares for all dogs entrusted into her care as if they were her own dogs and applies the same standards to all dogs that she would expect if she left her own dogs in boarding kennels.
 

Inspection of Kilmessan Kanine Kennels is welcome and invited prior to boarding.
 

Kay is qualified in canine First Aid and has received a certificte for same. This certificte is accredited by the Vetinary Council of Ireland no.___ outlining her qualifications in all aspects of canine first aid and the cource conducted.
